The feeling of pain softens…Outfit of some Day

Hello there! Welcome to the feeling of pain softens. And its connecting power. No emotion is more connecting, human and teaching than pain and no matter of its kind. It’s the connecting puzzle piece of our human species and foundation of empathy. And for what all the pain on soul and body was worth it, it softens me. Have you ever considered this perspective? I needed to. Pain is enevitable, suffering is not. Changing perspectives was helpful to thrive instead of being defeated by it. THE TASK What followed in 2017, was the lesson of softness. Softness became a life’s task for me to experience. How hard we treat ourselves, as women.  Maybe it’s a german thing born in the myth of the „Trümmerfrauen“. In esseence, we are meant to be soft, protected, expanding and care keeping. Yet. have to so strong and harsh sometimes, on ourselves, at the world, we are stuck at being hard. A big revelation for me, how to be softer. Since it all starts within, I started to question myself. How I speak to myself. Goodbye inner constant critic. How I touch my own skin. Goodbye subtle passive aggression. How kind life is without the judgement. Goodbye to what I thought is right and wrong. How much fear I had towards men. Goodbye walls around my heart. And what better way to embody softness in some black leather? It still takes a little contrast, why not. Wrapped in silk and ruffles.
